I think everyone needs a good black eyeliner to complete their look. For palettes, the CoverGirl TruNaked palettes are dupes for the Naked Palettes, so they have great colors and also great pigmentation and quality. The Maybelline Color Tattoos are great bases and washes of color. There are many eyeshadow products, but sometimes it feels like finding a diamond in the rough with drugstore products. It’s a very fine tip pencil and the formula is very easy to use as a beginner. The only drugstore brow product I have tried is the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer.
Both are cream like powder formulas, so they are long-lasting and natural. For blush, I like Between the Sheets and for highlighter, Smoke N Whistles. Although not drugstore, I really recommend ColourPop’s products. This bronzer has a great color, long-lasting, and smells like a tropical vacation. The Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer is my favorite bronzer at the drugstore.
I love using a setting spray to make everything look cohesive and last longer, I think there are many great options for setting spray, but that one that I have is the Maybelline MasterFix Setting Spray. To get a little more coverage I recommend Maybelline BetterSkin Powder*, this has a little color as a setting powder or can be used as a powder foundation as well. All it does is set the base and make it less sticky, and matte. The easy option is translucent powder, I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. If you want to make your base last all day, you need to set it. This foundation has a great color match for my pale skin and makes the skin look natural and glowy. When you do go the foundation route, I really enjoy the L’Oreal Infallible ProGlow. It’s creamy, easy to blend, and good at covering blemishes and dark circles. To be honest, I started by only wearing concealer and one that I really recommend is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It’s always a good idea to start out with the base. Whenever I do an eyeshadow look I always set my eyes as well, the Milani Eyeshadow Primer is comparable to more expensive versions and gets the job done.
